Gordon’s background in Massage Therapy began during his academic career where he graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences in 2013. He was keen on understanding human anatomy and physiology in sports performance which led to his pursuit in Strength and Conditioning. Shortly after graduating, Gordon challenged the NSCA exam and received his certification in Strength and Conditioning where he began his career as a Competitive Women’s Artistic Gymnastics Coach.

Noticing that there was a shift emerging in encouraging athlete health and longevity as well as implementing more research-backed training, Gordon wanted to fortify this education towards athletes, coaches, and parents. In 2018, Gordon enrolled at CDI College where he completed his 2400hr Registered Massage Therapy education with the goal of providing evidence-based care to athletes working towards injury prevention and management.

Since then, he continues to coach gymnastics while building a diverse clientele of athletes and active individuals of all backgrounds and ages. Focusing primarily on Clinical Massage Therapy, Gordon aims to improve or restore functional movement through neuromuscular stretching techniques, manual therapy and loaded mobility. With his Performance Massage Therapy, he aims to improve clients’ movement patterns through the use of fascial, neuromuscular or loaded stretching, followed by manual therapy.

Outside of practicing and coaching, Gordon loves spending time outdoors. During his days off you will typically find him at the local climbing gym or at the nearby dog park with his Mini Aussie, Stella.
