Dr. Hayes has a focus in sports health and performance. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Lethbridge in Exercise Science before completing his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Palmer West College of Chiropractic in California.
Hayes has been recognized by the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner. He has completed his Functional Integrative Acupuncture certificate (FIA), and has completed certifications in Selective Functional Movement Assessments (SFMA) and Active Release Technique (ART). Hayes’ educational background and experience in the industry has allowed him the privilege of working with many youth, amateur, and professional athletes, along with those who strive to maintain an active lifestyle.
Hayes has travelled internationally to World Cup events with the Canadian National Bobsleigh and Skeleton Team as para-medical therapist.
Being native to Calgary, Hayes loves being able to use his skills to help people in his community. In his spare time, Hayes enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, playing hockey and getting outdoors.
