Tisha grew up in Calgary and relocated to Perth, Western Australia to complete her Masters of Clinical Physiotherapy at Curtin University in 2011. After working with the Australian National Women’s Rugby team at the Rugby World Cup in 2014, she returned to Canada to pursue a career in private practice. Prior to this, she completed her Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of Calgary. Tisha has spent time as a volunteer ski patrol, has worked on sport sidelines as a first responder, and travelled to the Olympics as a first aid volunteer in Whistler. She grew up playing a multitude of sports culminating in an invaluable understanding of the biomechanics and physical requirements involved in each.
Tisha’s goal is to restore the health of every person she treats. She strives to understand each individual’s needs and listens intently to ensure the best care. Tisha believes in educating, enabling and encouraging each and every patient. She is honest to admit that she can’t always make your health perfect, but her commitment to her patients ensures that she will exhaust every option using inter-disciplinary care in the pursuit of a pain free life.
When she’s not treating, Tisha moonlights as an instructor for dry needling, teaching other physiotherapists and chiropractors. She spends her time-off exploring her own backyard on backcountry skis and mountain bikes. She has played decades of volleyball and soccer, loves golf, dabbles in many racket sports and just generally likes to be active.
